Say goodbye to store-bought Naans with our quick, easy and pillowy homemade Naan bread made just from 4 ingredients. Prepared from wheat flour, these wholesome healthy Naans are a perfect accompaniment to any South Asian curry along with pickle and yogurt. More interestingly, they can be made with different seasonings as well as in different ways using clay oven, skillet or microwave oven.

Method

  1. Mix Laila Naan Atta, salt, oil and Greek yogurt until the ingredients are well-combined. The dough should come away from the sides of the bowl cleanly.
  2. Turn the dough onto a floured work surface and knead it for a couple of minutes. Form the dough into a disc before dividing it into 6 equal pieces. Using your hands (or a rolling pin) press out the dough to form an oval approx. 5 inches to 3.5 inches.
  3. Cook the naan one by one in a frying pan over medium hot heat. Cook for around 1 1/2 minutes each side. Serve warm with a knob of butter and a curry on the side. Enjoy!
